Cases Completed at Eric Heim Dental
Implant cases
This was a case where we were able to replace a few missing teeth for a patient with a couple of implants and an implant bridge. The patient and I were very happy with our results
The patient had some wear on the tooth near their gumline (abfraction)
We placed a tooth colored filling to protect the area along with recommending a night guard
The tooth colored filling had fractured on the patient leaving the tooth susceptible to tooth decay
After removing the old filling and the tooth decay we placed a new filling. The blue marks show where the patient is biting on the tooth.
Patient had a silver filling with a significant amount of decay around the filling
Here is the tooth after decay has been removed - not much tooth structure remaining
This is a zirconia crown that was fabricated in the dental lab
The patient had chipped their tooth and we were able to get a great natural looking new crown. Matching one front tooth is one of the hardest things to do in dentistry. The patient and I were very happy with the result.
Maryland Bridge
We were able to add a ceramic tooth in this space that looked like a missing tooth. It is called a Maryland bridge. We do not need to drill on the adjacent teeth with a Maryland bridge
Another photo of the zirconia crown
Composite cases
Crown cases
The patient broke part of their tooth from having tooth decay
How the tooth looked after removing tooth decay
How the tooth looks after having a composite filling done. The tooth will need a crown in the future since it is more prone to breaking due to the size of the filling.
